The City District Government Lahore (CDGL) imposed a ban on pillion riding for Youm-e-Ashur but women and children under eight years are exempted from the ban.
The Lahore chief traffic officer (CTO) directed traffic wardens to ensure the ban on roads during the said days and register cases under Section 88 of the Pakistan Penal Code against those people violating the ban.
