Foreign Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre called Foreign Minister Khar on Sunday to convey his sympathy on the killing of the Pakistani soldiers in Mohmand Agency, the Foreign Ministry said.
Støre referred to the bilateral ties between the two countries and the positive role played by the sizeable Pakistani community in Norway. He also raised the matter of Pakistan’s participation in the Bonn Conference.
Khar briefed her Norwegian counterpart on the details of the attack and its impact in Pakistan. She also informed him of the decisions of the DCC, the Cabinet and the National Security Committee of the Cabinet, which had taken a clear decision not to participate in the Bonn Conference.
