‘Islam is religion of peace’

Renowned Religious scholar Allama Muhammad Anwar Qureshi has said that Islam is a religion of peace and coexistence and teaches the Muslims to forge unity among their ranks and show patience and tolerance with others.
“We can prosper in this world and after that by implementing the golden principles taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him),” he expressed these views while addressing a Friday congregation at Masjid Hazrat Ali Al Murtaza in Dhudhambar village.
This mosque has recently been constructed by the funds donated by social figure of the area Haji Ghulam Mursaleen who is currently based in Saudi Arabia.
Allama Anwar Qureshi also spoke in detail regarding the life and sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain and rest of the martyrs of Karbla. He appreciated Haji Ghulam for providing funds for the construction of a beautiful mosque and arranging Naat competition.
Haji Ghulam thanked the people of the area for recognising the mosque as a grand mosque.
Maulana Abdul Hafeez Chishti, Pir Kausar Hussain Shah, Pir Muhammad Shafiq Gilani, Haji Ghulam Yaseen, Allama Manzoor Hussain Chishti, afdar Shahid Malik and Hamid Yaseen also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the noble gesture of Haji Ghulam Musaleen. Notables and a large number of people of the area participated in the congregation and acknowledged the services rendered by Haji Ghulam.
It may be mentioned here that it is a unique mosque as its interior and exterior is similar to that of Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Prayers and dua were offered for the prosperity and integrity of the country on the occasion.
