Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who appeared in a naked photoshoot on a magazine cover with an ISI tattoo on her arm, has sparked a huge controversy. Amongst the conservative Muslims, given the country she belongs to, her pictures have not gone down too well. They are enraged at her portrayal of nudity and her act as disrespect and mockery to the country’s intelligence agency. And now after the whole controversy has gone to a whole new political level, Veena has come out in open denying that she ever did a nude photo shoot. “I have never posed nude.
I have never done anything like that ever,” a daily quoted her as saying. “My manager and legal team is looking into the matter. We will take legal action against them,” she added. Magazine’s editor, Kabeer Sharma, said that nothing had been doctored, and that the magazine could prove the photo’s authenticity. “We have video footage of the shoot as well as emails from Veena about how she’s looking forward to the cover,” he said. Sharma said the reference to Pakistani intelligence was meant to be light-hearted, saying: “In India we joke about this if anything goes wrong we say the ISI must be behind this.”

  1. What is wrong with you, Wahab Khalid !!! They are girls who have their own free will and not property of some men. Pathetic

    • We have no problems with girls having their own free will – but there is a question of morality and decency. It has nothing to do with religion. You said women are not "property" of some men – absolutely right – they should be independent, educated and following their dreams. but do you realize that when women that are considered role models like Veena go nude in public what kind of message it sends to the minds of young men – that yea women are all like that and easy. Thats not what the Pakistani OR Indian culture teaches! Respect for a woman's sanctity comes first – no one is asking her to wear a burqa – but please – nude – no. It creates a moral breakdown in society. They are not our property – they are our pride.

  2. for pakis its ok to have stoning of women, incest with daughters and sisters, limited edu for women, honor killings, ……but nude pics..that too for an indian mag…thats abig no…..jai ho pakistan….besides…such pics of muslim chicks are dime a dozen in USA

  3. When people realize they are not slave to artificial religions, they are set free. All religions have given men more power, especially Islam. All people should be allowed to express their feelings without the threat of religious extremism or social taboo. All these imams ans pundits jis who claim some kind of responsibility to uphold moral standard engage in dirty acts on their private time using personal computers on the net. They just hide behind their status in the society. Religion should not be applied to women only while the mullahs carry out stoning and ridiculous fatwas against women. Islam, Hinduism or any religion that requires artificial laws like sharia is destined to fail. When people stand up to the fanatics and unite, we will realize that the people of this world can live much more peacefully.

  4. definitly believe the editor…..its an international magazine with branches globally…its not going to make such a big mistake….u cant photo shop something like that….Veena is now Wajib-ul-qatal

    • how is she Wajib ul qatal ? a typical extremist sab ko maar do.Broaden your mind. try to resolve problems not eradicate them

  5. Well the part is we never want to believe are own people..and no body can be deemed wajib ul qatal without being given an oppurtunity of proving his/her innocence..our emotions get stirred up so easily tht we refuse to afford basic rights which even our own religions allows..if you want to punish her set the moral standards high bcos clealry they differ so much, and also allow to her to prove her innocence..btw it also needs to be seen whether capital punsihment can be imposed for nudity.
