Police found weapons hidden in an underground water tank in the Orangi Town area.
The weapons were found after an arrested target killer divulged details during investigation.
The police said that three Kalashnikovs, three 7mm rifles and hundreds of rounds were recovered from the tank.
“Asif Iqbal alias Qadoos was nabbed a few months ago and is being interrogated. He informed the police about the location of the weapons dumped in the Pakistan Bazaar area of Orangi Town,” they added.
The “target killer” has confessed to his involvement in more than a dozen targeted killings and also provided details about his 25 accomplices, the law enforcers said.
MURDERS: A man identified as Majid Baloch was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Lyari in the jurisdiction of Pak Colony police station on Friday.
The police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital Karachi and registered an FIR against unidentified suspects.
In a separate incident, the police found the bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man in Orangi Town.
