As part of its campaign to disseminate information about “Cyber Revolution” among youngsters and the general public, the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has started a series of programmes in various areas of the city.
Under the auspices of the Karachi Tanzimi Committee of the party, seminars were held in Shah Faisal sector and Korangi sector.
According to a press release, a large number of students, particularly information technology enthusiasts, attended the sessions.
MQM Rabita Committee member and provincial information technology minister, Raza Haroon was the guest speaker at the seminars. He encouraged youngsters to find new avenues for advancement by revolutionising their lives through information technology. He asserted that the countries that lagged behind in adopting new technologies, as per the requirement of changing times, were left behind in the march towards economic progress.
Former city nazim Mustafa Kamal also spoke on the occasion.
