Philanthropists should play their role: LCCI seminar

All segments in general and the philanthropists in particular should act in unison to play their due role for ensuring all facilities from education-to-job-placement to disabled persons for making them an active member of the society. This was the upshot of speeches delivered at a seminar “Look Ability Not Disability” jointly organised by Rotary Club Lahore Garrison, Hope Rehabilitation Society and Al Mustafa Welfare Society at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
LCCI Acting President Kashif Younis Meher was the Chief Guest while rehabilitation experts Dr Khalid Niazi, Dr Khalida Tareen, Dr Shazia Mqbool, President Al Mustafa Welfare Society Mian Khalid Habib Elahi, Kh Asif, Ms Shaheen Ahmad, and others also addressed the function.

  1. THE GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN IS NOT IMPLEMENTING THE LAW OF 2% QUOTA FOR EMPLOYMENT OF DISABLED PERSONS, THIS IS THE HIGHEST DEGREE OF DISCRIMINATION WITH DISABLED.
