Army, Rangers deployed in Chakwal

Rangers and Pakistan army troops reached Chakwal and started patrolling the roads. Punjab government has declared Chakwal district as most sensitive city during Muharram.
Army and rangers will assist the district administration to maintain law and order situation. The arrangement for the most sensitive procession of 7th Muharram has been finalized and the DPO of Chakwal Kashif Mushtaq has mad fool proof security arrangements for this occasion.
The DPO said that more than 2000 police officials would perform their duties and the route of the procession would be sealed and police officials would be deployed all along the route of the procession.
He further said that a control room for the procession of 7th Muharram was established at the city police station Chakwal. DCO Chakwal Ahmed Aziz Tarrar told that all the arrangements for the procession of Muharram have been finalized and a control room have been established and the people were asked to provide any information regarding the law and order situation at Phone no. 0543-540081.
The DCO also requested that the people should have a close eye toward the suspected people in their area and immediately inform the nearest police station.
