City school holds ‘Business Expo-2011’

The City School on Thursday organised the ‘Business Expo 2011’ at its Capital Campus, to display new and fresh business ideas which can be brought into the market. The teams demonstrated their creativeness and skills in producing and marketing new products. The Business Expo was a great success and was praised by the chief guest, Federal Secretary Javaid Zafar (rtd), currently working as an English Lecturer in COMSATS. Other honourable guests included entrepreneur and founder of IKONAMI Baber Khan and Bahria Town General Manager and Coordinator Shahzad Akhtar. The students showcased own innovative business ideas and were awarded for their efforts. The chief guest then addressed the students with inspirational words. Special guest The City School Assistant Regional Director (North) Rabia Najam awarded the prize winners with shields.
The prizes were distributed in three categories for the most enterprising idea, awarded to I-TECH, the most promising plan awarded to CHASE BANK, and most successful business venture which was given to PAK HEROES. “We hope that such events will boost the confidence of our students and will make them successful entrepreneurs in their respective fields in the future,” Najam said on the occasion.
