Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani is likely to take the nation into confidence in the light of the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security during the joint sitting of parliament within the next few days. Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan hinted at the development on Tuesday while talking to reporters at a dinner hosted in her honour.
She said no compromise would be made on the sovereignty of the country and the cabinet’s decision to stay away from the Bonn Conference reflected national sentiments and a turning point in the foreign policy of the country. aShe said the government would continue to take decisions in accordance with the aspirations of the nation.
