Commando’s body handed over to family

The dead body of SSG commando murdered a day ago was handed over to his heirs after autopsy in Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday. According to initial autopsy report, the deceased Arshad was given poisonous intoxicant before being dealt a lethal blow on the head. The deceased’s father said he was not aware of his son’s leave from army and presence in Lahore and his son did not any have any enemies. A case is yet to be registered.
FIRE: Two trucks loaded with paper trash caught fire and were completely destroyed on Bund Road on Tuesday.
GANG BUSTED: Naulakha Police, on Tuesday, claimed to have arrested a gang of proclaimed offenders wanted in several cases including a double murder. According to details, a team of Naulakha police traced and arrested the gang leader Sher Khan and his fellows. Police sources said Khan had killed two laborers of Landa Bazar Sajjad Khan and Hazrat Wali on June 6 this year.
ROBBERY GANG: Ichara police claimed to have arrested four persons accused of belonging to a robbery gang while four other members of the same managed to escape.
The gang was accused of being involved in house robberies and police claimed to have recovered robbed money, mobiles, other valuables and weapons from their custody.
The arrested persons were identified as Khadim Hussain alias Boota who was the gang leader, Ramzan alias Jani, Javed alias Sunny and Mazhar Saleem while their four accomplices were still at large. During the initial interrogation, the accused persons have confessed five house robberies and snatching in Ichara, Model Town, Faisal Town and Gulberg police precincts. DIG Operations has announced commendatory certificates and cash prizes for the police team.
BODIES RECOVERED: Two dead bodies of unidentified men were recovered in Tibbi city and Misri Shah police stations’ jurisdictions on Tuesday.
According to details, a 35 year old man was found dead lying in front of Lady Willingdon Hospital while another 60 years old unidentified person was found in Misri Shah area. Both bodies were moved to Mayo Hospital dead house.
SCHOOL PRINCIPAL RAPE CASE: Kot Lakhpat Police has registered a case against a school principal Shahbaz on accusations of raping a student of grade V. According to details, a middle-aged local school principal Shahbaz raped one of his school’s students, 12-year-old girl, and threatened her to not to tell anyone. The victim, however, informed her parents on Thursday who immediately reported to the police.
After medical examination in Lahore General Hospital, the case was registered against the principal but no arrests had been made to date.
