The Pakistan Cable Operators Association on Tuesday stopped the transmission of BBC World, and threatened to block other foreign TV channels involved in a propaganda campaign against Pakistan. The association’s chairman, Khalid Arayeen, said in a press conference that some foreign TV channels were airing negative propaganda against Pakistan and its army in the aftermath of a NATO attack on two Pakistani border posts.
“We express our solidarity with the rest of the nation, and to the families of those who were killed by the NATO attack on November 26,” he said.
