Two men were gunned down by unidentified assailants in Korangi on Monday.
The Awami Colony SHO told Pakistan Today that 25-year-old Mohammad Aamir and his friend 31-year-old Majid were on their way to work when two men opened fire on them at the main bus stop in Korangi No 5.
Both men were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where they breathed their last.
The victims were friends and resided in the same area.
The families of the victims have claimed that they had no enemies and nor were they affiliated with any political group, the police official said.
A case has been registered against the attackers and investigation is under way.
Separately, an unidentified boy was injured by robbers when he resisted them in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area.
