Lawyers of the capital city on Monday passed a resolution against the NATO forces, condemning the NATO air strike on Pakistani security forces which killed at least 25 Pakistani soldiers and injured 15 others near a border check post.
The lawyers also observed a strike and staged a protest in premises of Islamabad High Court (IHC), against the NATO forces Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHBA) President Chaudhry Ashraf Gujjar, Vice President Shazia Saleem and several other lawyers were among the protestors. They demanded that the government completely close down the NATO supply, adding that if the government does not act upon their demands, they will stage a long march from IHC to the Parliament House. The black coats also urged the government officials to take up the matter in the International Court of Justice.
