Amar Cables beat Lahore Greens by 10 wickets in the third SPM Lahore Veterans Cricket League here at the Ali Ghar Cricket Ground. Batting first, Greens made 106 all out in 29.1 over. Saleem Butt 27, Tariq Mansoor 17, Mansoor Hameed 12 and Zubair Hassan 11 runs. Amar Cables bowling Tariq Rasheed 3/12, Aftab Anjum 3/20, Nadeem Zafar, Aziz ur Rehman and Munir Shah each 1-1 wicket. In reply, Amar Cable scored 107 for no loss. Dastageer But 58 not out and Tariq Rasheed 47 not out. Pervaiz Shah, Munawar Hussain Umpair and Waqar Ahmad were the scorer. In the end, chief gust former Test cricketer Saleem Elahi gave away man of the match award to Tariq Rashid.
