Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Islamabad chapter, held a protest demonstration on Monday against the NATO firing at the Pakistani border check-post, Salala.
The protesters expressed anger at the violation of Pakistani sovereignty and demanded the corrupt government exit its support for the unjust War on Terror. The protesters included a larger number of youth as well as women from different areas of Islamabad.
Addressing the protest, PTI Women Wing President Fauzia Kasuri said the incident was a clear violation of all international laws and was a result of the unpopular policies of the government that is subservient to its American masters. She added that blocking the NATO supply routes for a few days would not do anything, they should be sealed indefinitely.
Islamabad Zonal head Aamir Mughal said this brutal attack was not acceptable by any means and PTI condemns the unprovoked attack by NATO and shares condolences to the martyr’s families. He added that the incompetent government was not interested in protecting its citizens but was more interested in making dollars in return for the blood of Pakistani civilian and military martyrs.
