Seeds of Peace successfully carried out its second Mock Parliament event at (FC College. The purpose of the Mock Parliament was to replicate the structure and working of our neighbouring country. A group of 35 students from 13 private and semi-private schools of Lahore took part as Members of Parliament of Afghanistan, the Wolesi Jirga, this year. FC College Executive Vice-Rector Dr C J Dubbash distributed prizes amongst the participants. All in all, the Mock Parliament was able to achieve its aim: the recognition of Afghanistan’s issues, along with the learning of parliamentary procedures.
