After being rejected by the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad, for an open heart surgery, Asad Aurangzaib from Abbottabad got to know about The Garage School (TGS). He came to Karachi and during the medical check-up of TGS admission procedure, Shabina Mustafa got to know about his heart’s condition. She took up this challenge as it were her own child and managed to get his surgery done at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, on September 12, 2011. Asad has now recovered and he cannot thank Mrs Mustafa enough for all that she has done for him.
