The Pakistan Army on Saturday denied reports that a military operation was being carried out in Balochistan.
A spokesman of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that no operation was being carried out in any part of the province. “Reports about a military operation in Kohlu, Chamalalang and other areas of the province are baseless and concocted,” the spokesman said, adding that such reports were part of a campaign to tarnish the military’s image. He said the Army “strongly rejects these baseless reports”.
