Although Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is holding a political session in the hometown of former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the former PPP stalwart is in no mood to announce his final decision on joining the PTI or the PML-N. The public and PTI workers, who were considering Imran’s session connected to Qureshi’s decision, are now confused about the Qureshi’s status, as the development is crucial for the PTI in the current political scenario. On the other hand, Imran Khan will address a session of his supporters and workers at Shuja Abad, Multan today, where a group under the leadership of former MPA Ibrahim Khan will join the PTI. Former PPP governor and renowned politician Ghulam Mustafa Khar is also likely to join the PTI on Saturday, but PTI sources were not confirming the reports as yet. According to sources, the PTI will miss out on Qureshi, although its recently-launched political movement has reached his hometown. Still the party has failed to get the name of Qureshi among those political leaders who are actively joining the PTI. PTI leaders were earlier hopeful that by the time the PTI held its rally in Multan, Qureshi’s status would become. But they have been left confused after PML-N President Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Qureshi, and a debate has started in political circles and speculations abound. Qureshi is apparently seeking more time for a final announcement. The sources said all matters had been settled in connection with Qureshi’s decision, but nothing could be said until an official announcement, as the decision would prove vital for the future of the former foreign minister. Meanwhile, Imran Khan is set to address the masses at Shuja Abad and the party is expecting massive attendance.
