A man murdered his 35-year-old brother and his two nephews after intoxicating them at a local factory in Akram Park in the Islampura Police precincts on Friday. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Iqbal, Ali Raza, 24 and Khizar Hayyat, 22, residents of Okara. According to details, they came to Lahore and started working in the aforesaid factory owned by Mubeen as labourers a few months ago. On Friday, they were sleeping inside the factory when some men climbed into the factory, intoxicated and slaughtered them by cutting their jugular veins.

Fazil, father of Khizar and Ali, immediately informed his brother-in-law Nazir, who rushed to the spot and found his brother Iqbal and two nephews dead. Nazir informed police, which reached the spot and removed the bodies for autopsy. A CIA team also reached the spot but did not find any clues on which it got suspicious and took Nazir into custody, who confessed to killing his brother and two nephews. Police also recovered the murder weapon. Nazir told the CIA that he killed his brother and two nephews in order to get their rivals implicated in the crime. He told police that he wanted to acquire land that was in possession of their rivals. Nazir claimed that they had a rivalry with the Nadir Group. He said that a year ago, Nadir’s son Ahmed was murdered during a robbery bid but Nadir blamed them for murdering Ahmed and wanted to kill them in revenge due to which they fled to Tandlianwala, Faisalabad. He said that they used to earn by working at different factories. Nazir said that in order to fulfil his malicious desire, he on Thursday reached the factory where his brother Iqbal, Khizar and Ali were working. He said that he prepared tea and mixed sleeping pills to intoxicate his brother and two nephews. The murderer said that after his brother and two nephews fell asleep, he killed them by repeated hits of a sharp weapon. Police registered a case against the killer and started completing legal formalities.
