IRM-Centre for Executive Education (CEE) has initiated its specialised Executive Diploma for English Language Proficiency (EDELP) from 14th November, 2011. The classes began formally after the dynamic orientation session for the participants. The duration for the diploma is three months and classes are scheduled three times a week from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
The main objective of CEE is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible with changing needs of the people working in the development sector and beyond. Through its academic programmes, CEE prepares its trainees to grow by innovative learning experiences and empower them to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
This English proficiency diploma is exclusively designed to groom professionals for effective communication in English language. EDELP is an excellent mix of interactive sessions, individual’s exercises and group work. The course provides a graduated progression towards English language proficiency, enhancing the importance of presentation and technical writing skills which are tailored to fulfill the requirements of aspiring professionals from both public, private and non-government organisations.
Three professionally diverse and experienced trainers are part of this diploma; Arif Khattak, who has been an English accent trainer in international call centres and has conducted English language proficiency trainings for corporate as well as education sector; Ms Amna Golinowsky who has been a brilliant Canadian educator since the past 10 years and Ms Salma Ayaz who has a vast teaching experience in English language in most of the prestigious universities of Islamabad.
The diverse teaching methods of the trainers will be an enriching learning experience for all the participants, with focus on both oral and written communication skills. The classes will continue till February 1, 2011.
