‘Govt forms investigation commission on memo issue’

Information and Broadcasting Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Thursday that government had established investigation commission to probe into the memo issue.
Talking to journalists after participating in a ceremony in a local school, she said that healthy democracy was nurturing in the country. Commenting on the memo issue, she said whatever government had to do at the initial level, it did. It would be early to say anything about Hussain Haqqani’s fate until the completion of the investigations, she said.
Talking about Imran Khan, She said that every party had the right to hold political rallies.
Meanwhile, addressing during the ceremony in the school, she said the government would cooperate fully with private and public partnerships for the environmental improvement and plantation drive.

  1. Who is in the Commission? Another one to hide the truth, buy the time so the Guilty man lingers on. Kiyani will get another extension to pacify him. There is a fear of coup d'état from mid level officers if it went that way. This is a serious breach of Article 6 and Zardari seems to be the man behind to assign memo task to HH and the fool was more loyal than the king but a bit foolish to hire MI for this dirty job. If not guilty, why he or Pakistani government does not sue MI in US?
