The provincial government in Balochistan has sent the arrest warrants for former president Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz and former chief minister Jam Muhammad Yosaf in Akbar Bugti killing case to the federal government, a private TV channel reported on Friday.
Quoting unidentified sources of the Home Ministry, the channel reported that a copy of the FIR was also sent along with the arrest warrants. Earlier, a court in Quetta had issued the arrest warrants of the three former top office-bearers.
On November 1, Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Qazi Faez Essa had directed the authorities to repatriate the accused residing outside Pakistan. The provincial government forwarded the arrest orders to the federal government on the court directives, the channel reported.
