APML to purge country from menaces of corruption: Zahid Sarfraz

Former president and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief Pervez Musharraf solely possessed the capability to steer the country from prevailing challenges, said former Interior and Trade Minister Mian Zahid Sarfraz and announced formally to join APML.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Mian Zahid sarfraz announced formally to join APML and said that Pervez Musharraf aches for the people of Pakistan and to steer the masses from the gulf of crisis would return to Pakistan prior to march 23, 2012.
APML Secretary General Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif and APML Chief Coordinator Chaudary Shahbaz also addressed on the occasion and vowed to steer the country from ongoing challenges of corruption, unemployment, energy challenges, inflation and unemployment under the leadership of Pervez Musharraf.
Talking about the developmental works made during ‘Musharraf Regime’ in Pakistan, Sarfraz said Pakistan achieved tremendous progress during eight years’ tenure of Pervez Musharraf that was far greater of last 40 years progress. He added that dollar rate remained between Rs 59-60 during Musharraf government that has mounted now up to Rs 87.
Musharraf strengthened local governments system in the country that is considered as foundation of democracy and introduced democratic values and norms in political structure of the country.
Expressing his commitment with APML, Mian Zahid Sarfraz asserted that with the arrival of Pervez Musharraf in Pakistan, political environment of the country would take a new turn and he would stand by with Musharraf in future in every thick and thin.
Responding to a query regarding Bughti issue, Mian Zahid Sarfraz disclosed that Nawaz Akbar Bughti committed suicide by exploding his ‘suicide jacket’ inside the cave, in which he was hidden to avoid his arrest, resultantly, two brigadiers and three colonels of Pak-Force were also martyred who had arrived at the cave to resolve the issue amicably through dialogue.
Mian Zahid Sarfraz also said that, despite all good deeds, Pervez Musharraf made some mistakes, however, now when he is not in uniform, he is not being backed by uniform personnel. Sarfraz also said that whatever happened in Lal Masjid that could be averted but due to ill advice of few individuals that happened.
APML senior office bearers including Khurshid Qasoori, Major general (r) Rashid Qureshi, Dr Amjad, Amoun Pasha were also present on the occasion.

  1. Tanga Party. One plus one doesn’t make any difference. Mush accepted all demands of American general and Sect. of State without any negotiation. He didn’t commit mistakes, he commited blunders. I don’t see any bravery and political astute in this person. He is a man of past.
