Pakistan has a bright future under Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, which will bring it out of all crises and put the country on the path of progress and development, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif said on Wednesday.
He was addressing PML-N workers. Shahbaz said that national sovereignty and integrity will be defended at any cost and every sacrifice will be made for this purpose. The CM said that Pakistan was established after innumerable sacrifices so that such a society could be set up where there would be supremacy of justice and equal rights were available to all citizens. He said that today’s Pakistan did not reflect the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, as Pakistan of the rich was different from that of the poor.
He said that while the elite class had all privileges, the common man was deprived of even basic facilities and the main reason for this state of affairs was the failure to develop indigenous resources during the last 64 years and reliance on others. Shahbaz said that despite foreign assistance of billions of rupees, destiny of the country had not changed and charity of others had paralysed the nation due to which it was obliged to take dictation.
