Most owners of the CNG stations in Potohar region declined to accept the three-day closure of their pumping stations.
According to the reports, several CNG stations of the region were kept open on Thursday, as hundreds of stations have been closed down for three days in Faisalabad region.
It should be mentioned here that under the load management plan, CNG stations have been closed in Islamabad, Gujranwala and Faisalabad in Potohar Region for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The CNG Association urged owners to keep their CNG stations open. The owners resisting the 3-day closure said, ‘This is not defiance but a protest instead.’
While, van and rickshaw drivers complained the weekly closures are adversely impacting their business, ordinary citizens demanded that the government should take concrete measures to end the energy crisis so that their problems are resolved.
