A much awaited event will launch the first official adaptation of Sesame Street in Urdu, for Pakistani children. The project is a collaboration between the Rafi Peer Theatre Group and the USAID. The event is to be held at the Marquee Studio on Raiwind Road at 11:30 am. It has been organised by the Pakistan Children’s Television and Rafi Peer. The name of the program has been changed to ‘Simsim Hamara’. The event will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011.
