Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif accepted Tuesday the resignation of Advocate General Punjab Khawaja Haris Ahmad which he had submitted citing personal reasons. The chief minister said Khawaja Haris had rendered great services in constitutional and legal matters of great importance. He lauded Haris’s role in cases such as Bank of Punjab case, Haris Steel Mills Scam case and 18th Constitutional Amendment case. The CM said Khawaja Haris performed his duty honestly and with professional commitment.
