Pakistan recorded a five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka when two teams met first time at this ground on May 18, 2007. In the next match two days later, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 98 runs. Sri Lanka’s only victory against Pakistan came in the third match of the series on May 22, 2007. The Islanders won the match by 115 runs.
