An abandoned suicide jacket was found near the office of a secret agency in Shakarparian area of the federal capital here on Tuesday, according to media reports.
Police and security officials rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area after the jacket was found outside the office building.
Bomb disposal squad was immediately called in by the police, and the jacket was defused.
According to a police representative, security personnel saw a suspect in front of the office main entrance, abandoning the jacket and fleeing into the woods.
Security forces are still searching the area.
