After Rauf Siddiqui, another member of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), party’s Rabita Committee member and provincial Information Technology Minister Raza Haroon, has also written a letter to the UK government to express concern over Dr Zulfiqar Mirza’s activities. In the letter written to British Prime Minister David Cameron, Haroon said that Mirza is trying to foment ethnic violence in Karachi by his inflammatory speeches in London. Haroon noted that the nefarious conspiracy to incite violence was being patronised by the member of the House of Lords Baron Nazir Ahmed. He also informed the British prime minister of a resolution adopted unanimously by the Sindh Assembly that condemns baseless allegations against President Asif Zardari and MQM chief Altaf Hussain. He hoped that the British prime minister will not allow his home soil to be used for creating lawlessness in Karachi.

  1. It makes no difference with letters from the MQM leaders. The UK government must be knowing fully well about the activities of master blackmailer sitting in London. It is very unfortunate the UK government is not taking any action against these thugs because of pressure from the US government, which apparently thinks that the MQM is a secular party .
Dr Mirza is making progress. He had a second meeting with the Scotland Yard. ZM is busy speaking in meetings, People welcome him where ever he goes.

  2. I agree with the Observer from UK, the letters from MQM members will not make any difference to UK government. They already would be aware of the political situation in Sindh. What I wonder is, how a Sindh Provincial Minister of IT, has written a letter of concern ? Did he get the approval of Sindh Chief Minister, for such a letter or did he by-pass the Sindh Chief Minister?

  3. political situation in Sindh province is fully in grips of MQM. No man due to threat can say or write against this party because they keep arms and ammunition. Jobs and all other facilities are provided only to such that belong to their party. Sindh is fully packed with such elements that are not real citizens of Pakistan…hence public is unrest
