After a surprise visit to different areas in the city, Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed directed the officials concerned to repair damaged roads within seven days. A statement issued by the KMC on Monday stated that the administrator directed that the repair works should be carried out with a guarantee of lasting a minimum of five years and completed within a week after removing the damaged sections. Syed also instructed that climbing ramp at the Liaquatabad flyover on the side of Liaquatabad No10, descending ramp at Jam Sadiq Bridge towards the 8,000 Road and the climbing ramp at the KPT flyover while approaching from Jam Sadiq Bridge should also be repaired.
