5 killed in Karachi violence

At least five people were killed in separate incidents of violence in different parts of the city here on Tuesday.
According to media reports, a 65-year-old guard, Khiyal Khan, was shot dead by unidentified persons near Khyber Chowk in Ittehad Town in the jurisdictions of Mochco Police Station.
In another incident of violence, a woman named Fatima was allegedly slaughtered by her brother-in-law in Madina Basti in Sachal Police Station jurisdiction. The accused managed to escape after committing the crime.
In the arae of Noor Jahan Road, a guard of a bungalow, Muqabil Shah, was also found dead.
In Mominabad Police Station area, some unidentified persons shot dead 72-year-old Afzal Jan, while a leader of a religious party, Qari Zafar, was gunned down in North Nazimabad.
