Islamabad High Court (IHC), while staying the CNG load shedding, has ordered for immediate ending of this load shedding in Islamabad.
According to a private TV channel, a petition was filed in IHC against CNG load shedding in the federal capital wherein a plea was taken that the federation had right on the resources of the provinces and the constitution had authorised provinces to utilize gas. Therefore, the provinces which are exempted from gas load shedding should supply gas to the federal capital.
Upon hearing the petition, IHC issued stay orders against load shedding and directed the concerned authorities to end CNG load shedding forthwith from Islamabad.

  1. The Honourable Judge, has issued a favourable decision in the best interest of the low-income people, households and servants of Federal Govt. We appreciate and prays the Honourable Court for passing a good decision. In the same time as this orders has passed, the SNGPL authorities reacted in the shape of low pressure in ICT, especially in the G.T. Road, Tarnol area the households are facing serious problems due to very low pressure. Our kids are going to school without taking a hot cup of tea.
The SNGPL should required to stop the lane-losses and ensure the gas pressure to households.
