At least eight militants and one cop were killed in clashes between security forces and militants in Wacha Wana area of the Upper Orakzai Agency here on Friday, local government officials said.
According to official sources, the security forces, while acting on a tip-off regarding the presence of militants in the area, initiated search operations in the Wacha Wana area of Upper Orakzai Agency.
As per details, eight militants were killed during the subsequent clash between the militants and the security forces, while a security personnel also lost his life.
