‘CJP must notice PML-N’s atrocities against women’

As the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) prepares to hold a rally in Faisalabad, Punjab Opposition Leader Raja Riaz on Thursday urged the CJP and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif to take notice of atrocities against women by PML-N leaders. He was holding a press conference at the Punjab Assembly (PA) Cafeteria. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Farooq Yousaf Ghurki, Zikriya Butt and PPP Punjab Deputy Parliamentary Leader Shaukat Basra were also present. Riaz urged the CJP to take suo motu notice of the Ayesha Ahad issue and suggested all women to stay away from the PML-N. Explaining his statement, the PPP leader said that nobody knew that when a PML-N leader fell in love with a woman visiting him and after marrying her, he disappeared from the scene. He said that the PML-N was a morally-decayed party and its leaders were involved in kidnapping women.
Riaz said that the PML-N had become “Zina League” and the PPP would expose it. He said that the PML-N was playing with the honour of people’s daughters. The Punjab opposition leader said that the woman who married former Punjab CM Dost Khosa was missing. He said that Dost had denied any relations with actress Sapna but now accepted that he not only married her but divorced her a few months ago. The PPP leaders said that the party would take a stand for daughters for the nation and PML-N’s leadership will have to answer in this regard.
Riaz asked Nawaz and PML-N MNA Hamza Shahbaz to answer his questions in their Faisalabad rally. He asked the PML-N president to tell the nation about the woman who visited PML-N MPA Munawar Gill but went missing, adding that the PML-N should also tell that what wrong Ayesha had done and why she was tortured in a police station.
