Batool Ikramul Haq, mother of Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Nadeemul Haq died on Wednesday. She was 90. The deceased was laid to rest at Mian Mir Graveyard. She was also the mother of Anisul Haq, Mrs Zaheer Sajjad and Silwat. A large number of people from all walks of life, including former Punjab governor Khawaja Tariq Rahim, Pakistan Today Editor Arif Nizami, former WAPDA chairman Tariq Hameed, former State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) governor Shahid Kardar, PEPCO Managing Director Rasool Mehsud, former Punjab chief secretary Pervaiz Masood, human rights activist IA Rehman, senior journalist Imtiaz Alam and Azizul Haq Qureshi attended the funeral.
Qul will be held at 1-Danepure Road at 3pm on Friday.
