Committee condemns Hindus’ killing

On the International Day of Tolerance, the Joint Action Committee called a meeting at the War Against Rape Office where it condemned the killing of three Hindus on Eid in Sindh. The conference was chaired by Shabnam Rashid, Farooq Tariq and Parveen Jahan, who fiercely slated the treatment of non-Muslims in Pakistan and the uncontrollable incidents of violence and carnage against them. They said that they would take up the issue at the national level in a matter of days and advise all progressive, enlightened and fair-minded people from civil society to join in the protest so that the message was strengthened.
