Remington Pharma defeated Valvoline Lubricants 6-5 in the Members Polo Cup here on Tuesday. Bilal Haye was the star of the win with four of the six goals Remington Pharma scored against Valvoline Lubricants. The remaining two goals of the winning team came from Dr. Faisal Khokhar and Ibrahim Akbar while Mian Khurram Munir registered four goals and Samee Ibrahim brought one goal in their close fight from Valvoline Lubricants.
In the two chukker competition between Hataff, Nurpur and Waste Busters, Hataff won both of their matches and qualified to play semi-final. Hataff first defeated Waste Busters 4-0 and then defeated Nurpur 3-2. Nurpur were good enough for Waste Busters to edge them 5-1.
Umpires for the matches were Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa, Taimur Ali Malik, Ahsan Khan and Shah Shamyl Alam.
