Mustafvi Students Movement (MSM) will organise a Students’ Awareness Congregation on November 19, MSM President Tajjamal Hussain said on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, he said religious scholar Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver a special message to the youth at the congregation, in view of the prevailing situation in the country.
Tajjamal said that the congregation will be the largest gathering in Lahore, with around 50,000 students expected to gather at Nasir Bagh from across the country. He said that the participation of students in large numbers would give a message to the people of Pakistan that the student community is ready to play its role for a change in the country. He said that the MSM has struggled consistently against intolerance, extremism and radicalization in the society. Tajjamal said that thousands of students would start their struggle for a positive and peaceful change under the leadership of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, adding that the struggle would continue until corruption is eliminated from Pakistan. He said that the students associated with MSM have always promoted the culture of knowledge.
