Pakistan defeated Ireland by eight wickets in ICC Women’s World Cup qualifying round match to record their second straight victory of the tournament.
Batting first after winning the toss, Ireland set Pakistan a target of 141 runs, which Pakistan comfortably achieved in the 33rd over at the loss of only two wickets.
The highlight of the run chase was Javeria Khan knock of 41 runs, followed by Sana Mir’s 34 runs.
Earlier, Bismah Mahroof, Nida Dar and Sadia Yousaf took three wickets each to restrict Irish team to 140 runs.
Bismah Mahroof who hit 22 runs and grabbed three wickets was declared the best player of the match.
