Former Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza claimed on Tuesday that he enjoys support of majority of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership in Sindh.
Mirza visited the Sindh High Court and met Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) leader Afaq Ahmed when the latter arrived at the court for a case hearing.
“Apart from a few party men, majority of PPP leaders stand by me,” claimed a fiery Mirza who parted his way with the ruling party, tendering resignation from key offices.
Sindh Chief MinsterSyed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday summoned PPP MPAs from Badin, the constituency of Mirza, and warned them against supporting the alienated party leader.
Mirza’s supporters in the Sindh government were also deprived of their offices.
“This is not victimization, but a difference of opinion,” Mirza said while speaking to newsmen at the court. “Our party leaders are supporters of the upper class and I’m adherent of middle class and oppressed people.”
All I can say is that PPP is full of comedians and he is the funniest one..
