A 22-member delegation of Indian journalists including members of the Mumbai Press Club arrived in the city on Monday. The delegation, led by Jatin Desai, was extended a warm welcome by the members of Karachi Press Club and activists representing different nongovernmental organisations at the airport. The Karachi Press Club has arranged a reception in their honour on Tuesday (today) during which a memorandum of understanding will be signed by the office-bearers of the two press clubs. A round table conference will also be held to discuss provision of opportunities to the journalists of the two countries for restoring mutual confidence among masses and bringing the people of India and Pakistan closer to each other. The Mumbai Press Club members will later visit Hyderabad on Wednesday and attend a reception organised by the members of Hyderabad Press Club.
