Four killed in Karachi violence

At least four persons, including a doctor and a robber, were killed in separate incidents of violence in different localities of the city on Monday.
Unidentified armed assailants opened fire at homeopathic doctor, Habeeb ur Rehman, in Babar Market locality of Landhi, killing him on the spot and fleeing from the scene.
In Saeedabad locality of Baldia Town, robbers gunned down a citizen, Salman, upon resistance during robbery attempt at a mobile shop. The neighbouring shopkeepers, upon hearing the gun shots, gathered at the scene and caught one robber, while his accomplice managed to flee. They brutally tortured the robber and later handed him over to police.
Meanwhile, in Joharabad, a robber was killed by an inadvertent fire by an accomplice while they were trying to flee after committing a dacoity.
In another incident, one person whose identity has not been confirmed was killed in firing by unknown armed men in Ayesha Manzil area of the city.
