Adisseo clinched the November Cup Polo title after a closely contested final here at the Lahore Polo Club’s Aibak Ground on Sunday while Men’s Store claimed the subsidiary title by one-and-a-half goal margin. Playing in front of a modest crowd and chief guest Mrs Riffat Haye, Adisseo won 7-6 against Hataff to take the title. Interestingly Usman Haye and Moin Yaqub shared three goals each from the winner’s side and similarly, Mohammad Samir Malik and Abdul Rehman Monnoo hit three goals each but it was Syed Hasnain Shah who brought the winner’s seventh goal in the last moments of the match to win it for his team. Omer Asjad Malhi scored five of the seven goals registered by Men’s Store, which already enjoyed half-a-goal advantage to land a win while Bilal Haye fought gallantly for Newage to get three goals out of 6 they scored while the losing team’s two goals were scored by Adnan Jalil Azam. Umpires for the matches were Omar Asjad Malhi, Mian Hussain Iftikhar, Mohsin Atta Khan Khosa and Samee Ibrahim.
