Primary schools blown up in Swabi, Peshawar

Unidentified men blew up a primary boys school in Taru Jabba area near Peshawar and a girls school in Swabi, police and witnesses said Sunday.
In the first incident, the miscreants planted explosive material between a government boys’ primary school and the shrine of Akhun Baba in Taru Jabba area, leaving one room of the school demolished.
The police have arrested school’s watchman. Eye witnesses told that about eight days’ ago another bomb was planted at the blast site but the police had defused it.
In the second incident, two bombs went off in a government girls’ school in Sawabi area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, leaving a major portion of the building destroyed.
