Female student raped, killed and dumped

A female student was first raped and then tortured to death before being thrown away inside a school building in Orangi Town on Saturday.
Police found the body of the deceased from a private school located in Sector-14, Orangi Town shifted it to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Doctors said the victim had been raped and tortured to death.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained until the filing of this report.
Separately, a man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the Bilal Colony area of Quaidabad.
Police said the attackers sprayed Fazal Ameen with bullets while he was returning home.
The body of a man was found near the People’s Stadium at Mauripur Road.
Police said the deceased identified as Mehrab Hussain had been shot twice on his chest.
The victim was a resident of Bihar Colony and owned a shop in the area.
In the Garden area, a man was electrocuted while trying to hook an illegal connection from the main line. His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said the victim had lodged several complaints with the KESC for electricity outage but did not get any response and decided to get a connection for himself.
Three people suffered bullet injuries in the Mithadar area when allegedly some policemen opened fire in the area. Hammad Ishrat, Faizan and Ghafoor were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
The injured persons were at a shop when the Mithadar police opened fire for an unknown reason. However, the Mithadar Police station duty officer said that no such incident took place.
A man died and two others were injured in a road accident at Guru Mandir when a passenger bus collided with a taxi. Rescue workers shifted the deceased and the injured to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
A 45-year-old man was killed when a dumper truck crashed into his motorcycle at the 2-minute chowrangi in North Karachi. The body of the deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Meanwhile, security forces arrested nine suspects allegedly involved in different crimes on Saturday.
The Darakhshan police arrested two suspects named Tasawor Ali and Ashraf, who were wanted in a case of robbery, when they had entered a house and cut the ears and hands of a 70-year-old man.
The Anti-Encroachment Cell arrested three alleged land grabbers. The suspects identified as Sikandar Barohi, Faizullah and Inayat were involved in selling government properties in Gulshane-e-Raheem, police said.
Four motorcycle snatchers were arrested after a brief encounter with police near the Hamdard University on Northern Bypass. Police claimed to have recovered two stolen motorcycles, three mobiles and other valuables from the suspects.
Two bandits were caught red-handed by police while they were looting a passenger bus.
Police also claimed recovering weapons from the suspects, identified as Khair Muhammad and Asghar, and registered a case against them.
A 12 year-old boy was recovered from a police check post situated in the Clifton area when Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan conducted a surprise raid.
The boy was taken into custody by the law enforcers nine days ago without any reason.
Talking to journalists, the boy said that police had arrested him and declared him a thief but did not register any case against him. “[Police] were demanding a bribe for my release,” the child said.
