Pakistani tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna advanced to the men’s doubles semifinals of the Paris Masters Tennis Tournament after defeating second seed M Llodra of France and N Zimonjić of Serbia in a thrilling quarterfinal contest in Paris on Friday. Seventh seed pair of Aisam-Bopanna won the encounter in super tie breaker. In the quarterfinals, Aisam-Bopanna lost the opening set by 6-3.
But Indo-Pak express came back strongly and played very well in the second set. They broke the opponent serve twice and won the set by 6-4. The match was decided on super tie breaker. Indo-Pak express won the tie breaker by 10-6.and won the contest. The scoreline of the match remained 3-6, 6-4, 10-6. Now Aisam-Bopanna will take on third seed M Mirnyi of Belarus and D Nestor of Canada in the semifinals.
