Hindus murder marks sad day for country: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan strongly condemning the murder of Hindus in Taluka Chak, District Shikarpur by armed assailants said that the murders marked a sad day for Pakistan.
In a statement released on Thursday from the party’s central secretariat, Imran said that the murder of Dr. Ashok, Dr. Naresh and Dr. Ajeet Kumar marked a sad day for Pakistan.
PTI believes in peaceful and harmonious co-existence among all its religious and ethnic groups and an indiscriminate practice of the rule of law, he maintained.
He said that attempts to settle disputes in such barbaric manner jeopardize the prospects of inter-sect harmony in the society.
The PTI chief reiterated that abdication of governance by the corrupt ruling mafias had resulted in an increase of violence in the society that needed to be checked immediately.
He also condemned the role of the law-enforcement agencies that tended to side with the criminals and refrained from registering cases against the alleged assailants.
Imran Khan further stated that while an independent enquiry was a basic requisite, what is absolutely vital is that its findings are made public and the culprits are punished without any discrimination.
